Saying goodbye is never easy. But we do it, don’t we? I have left a few jobs in my career. All of my career transitions have offered stretch and growth –opportunities to learn more about myself, others, my gifts, strengths, and growing edges.
Transition is seldom easy, but we always survive it and move on from it. I have found that knowing you are in a season of transition is one thing, but knowing what to do in and within that time of transition is quite another. Am I right or am I right? Can I get an amen?
Do you sense the winds of transition blowing?
Is it time for you to leave your job OR to stay with a new attitude, vision and confidence?
Have you been toying with the idea of leaving your job? Praying about taking a step or big leap into what’s next for you? Wondering who you need to become to stay more powerfully right where you are?
Today’s your lucky day.
I created an assessment/worksheet that will get you thinking and praying about your job and whether you should stay or leave.
I have learned, through trial and error, that transitions are inevitable. How and when we transition are where we usually get stuck. Don’t do it alone.
If you need help as you work through the worksheet, email me at email@example.com. Let’s set up a time to talk by phone to help you gain clarity about your current job and what may be next for you (there or elsewhere).
Give yourself 10-20 minutes to work through the worksheet. There’s no better time than the present to assess where you are and what you are sensing is next in your professional life.
The first step is to get real and honest, to “Assess.”
With self-honesty and lots of prayer, you may well be on your way to what’s next for you and the person you are yet becoming right where you are.
